I think Charlie's Chicken is highly underrated. The 3 chunk dinner with corn dodgers and mashed potatoes and gravy is my go to.
What are corn dodgers? Fluffy little fried pieces of corn. Get them. Eat them. Dip them in yo MF gravy! -

The chicken chunks are really delish and a million times better than any "nuggets" in town. The coleslaw is amazing as well! I don't often dine in, but the drive they is never slow and the people are always nice.
If you're in the mood for chicken, I don't know where you can get better!! -

Chicken pretty good, coleslaw and okra was tasty. But the size of this chicken wing kind of ruined my experience. This little guy barely made it out of his shell before Charlie dried him up..

Excellent food for the money. The people are very friendly and service is great! Chicken fried like grandmother use to brings back good memories.

I went through there to get some catfish. I ordered a 3 piece with mashed potatoes and fried corn poppers as sides. The food came out very quickly, but the quality was disappointing. The fried corn poppers tasted soggy. The catfish tasted very fishy to the point I could only down one half of one piece. I wished I spent my money else where. Would not recommend, under any circumstances.
